Effective 1 June 2026
Code of Conduct
CricON is built for the love of cricket. These guidelines ensure the platform stays fair, safe, and enjoyable for every player, scorer, and fan.
Our Community Values
CricON is a platform for cricket lovers everywhere — from gully matches to professional tournaments. We are committed to maintaining a community that is welcoming, honest, and respectful to every participant, regardless of skill level, age, background, or location.
By using CricON, you agree to uphold these community standards. These guidelines apply to all content and interactions on the platform, including match names, team names, player profiles, commentary, streaming, and any communications with other users.
Fair Play & Integrity
Record scores and statistics honestly and accurately. Deliberately falsifying match results, inflating scores, or manipulating statistics undermines the integrity of the game and the platform.
Do not use multiple accounts, bots, or automated tools to artificially boost your ranking, statistics, or match count.
Respect the outcomes of matches. Do not retroactively alter completed match data to misrepresent results.
Respectful Behaviour
Treat every user — opponents, teammates, and spectators — with courtesy and respect.
Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of any kind are strictly prohibited. This includes behaviour in commentary, player names, team names, match titles, or any other text you create on the platform.
Do not use language or imagery that is abusive, hateful, discriminatory, or sexually explicit. This applies to all content regardless of whether it is public or shared with a limited audience.
No Discrimination or Hate
CricON has zero tolerance for content or behaviour that discriminates against or demeans individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other characteristic.
Do not use slurs, derogatory language, or symbols associated with hate groups anywhere on the platform.
Authentic Identity
Do not impersonate another user, a professional cricketer, a public figure, or any other real person.
Do not misrepresent your affiliation with any team, club, or organisation.
Profile information, team names, and player names must be genuine and must not be intended to deceive other users.
Privacy & Consent
Respect the privacy of others. Do not share personal information about another user — such as their real name, contact details, or location — without their explicit consent.
If you use the live streaming feature, ensure that all players, umpires, and anyone else who may appear on stream are aware of and consent to being filmed, in accordance with applicable laws.
Do not record or share footage of individuals in a way that violates their privacy or dignity.
Streaming Standards
All live streams must comply with these guidelines. Do not stream content that contains hate speech, harassment, graphic violence, nudity, or copyrighted material you do not have the rights to broadcast.
Streams must represent genuine cricket matches or cricket-related content. Do not use the streaming feature to broadcast unrelated or misleading content.
Platform Integrity
Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or any part of the CricON platform.
Do not engage in spam, phishing, or any activity designed to deceive or defraud other users.
Do not post commercial advertisements, unsolicited promotions, or affiliate links through CricON.
Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behaviour that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it using the in-app "Report" feature, or by emailing us at [email protected].
All reports are reviewed by our team. We appreciate your help in keeping CricON a safe and enjoyable community.
Enforcement
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in content removal, a formal warning, temporary suspension, or permanent banning from the platform, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation.
We reserve the right to take action against any behaviour we determine to be harmful to our community or platform, even where not explicitly listed in this document.
Decisions regarding enforcement are made at CricON's sole discretion. If you believe a decision was made in error, you may appeal by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Appeal".
